As head of Sunrise Precision Machine in Lindstrom, Carl Anderson delivered consistent quality coupled with reliable customer service and minimal lead times. Starting the company in 2006, he established a reputation for micro-machined solutions in the production of precision aerospace, medical, and computing parts. Carl Anderson and his team of Lindstrom engineers programmed machines for specific projects in ways that minimized costs and ensured the highest possible quality.

In the early 1990s, Mr. Anderson pursued studies in Tool and Die and CNC machining at St. Paul College. He has also attained certification in geometric dimensioning and tolerance. Another facet of his education involved working on the family farm as a child. Under his father’s tutelage, he gained skills in repairing agricultural equipment and operating machinery. As a teen, he custom-built a fly wheel that brought a 460 cubic-inch motor and a four-speed manual transmission together in a 1979 Ford pickup.

An outdoors enthusiast, Mr. Anderson enjoys repairing and riding vintage snowmobiles and camping in mountainous areas such as the Canadian Rockies.
